Hi There,
I was wondering if anyone in QLD knows any place that installs alarm that you can recommend me

I'm looking at this Mongoose Alarm M80G
http://www.mongoose.com.au/car-security ... ct_id=M80G

# Triple circuit automatic engine immobilisation
# Protects bonnet, boot and all doors
# Battery back-up siren with soft chirp
# 2 stage impact sensor
# Microphone glass break sensor
# 2 water resistant remote controls (SAW resonator)
# Silent arm/disarm by remote
# Sensor disable by remote
# Remote panic
# Car finder by remote
# Chirp and indicator confirmation
# Turbo timer interface software (timer not supplied)
# 4 digit PIN code override
# Programme your own PIN code to a number you will not forget ! (deletes factory setting)
# Standards black wiring and concealed main plug
# Built-in central locking relays (saves on cost of installation)
# 2 stage unlock (optional)
# Boot release (optional)
# Dome light supervision (optional)
# 11 programmable features
# 5 year product warranty

Then also add Power Window Lifter Kit

Power Window Lifter Kit

And maybe upgrade the Microwave Sensor to the Dual Zone Exterior/Interior Microwave Sensors but I'm unsure if its worth it or not

Dual Zone Exterior/Interior Microwave Sensors

Thanks,

would anyone know how much that alarm would cost installed like an estimate?

it wouldn't be over 700 would it?

Why not try one of the bigger Autobarn's? They have a lifetime guarantee on installations.
I have no idea how much people/shops charge for installation, but I would assume it's nowhere near $700 cause it'll be only a one-day job at the most.

Make sure you get a system that suits convertibles, ie, an alarm that has adjustable sensitivity so you can dial it down for vibration-sensing and when the top is down etc.

Do you have a car to install an alarm in yet? :P

Mongoose will do the alarm install if you want. When my dad worked in the auto industry, his company used to refer jobs for alarm installs to them. The last time I went in there, the bloke there was extremely knowledgeable, willing to divulge a heap of information on how to set up remote boot releases via relays etc.
