Any recommendation on pressure?
More importantly - these tyres don't have that marker in the treat to tell you how much's left (I checked every groove...)
Does anyone have any ideas on how to find that out? (I've only got them 3 months ago so they should be fine but i want to find out whether they're durable or not)

they really should have a tread marker though, I thought all tyres by standard have them
Some tyres, like mum and dads car (dunlops) were just really hard to feel though, it wasn't very pronounced...
This finicky detail stuff fascinates me so I thought I'd have a snoop...
I had a closer look and circled in red a few areas that I think are the tread markers, they usually run perpendicular to circumference, a plateau about 5mm along and 1mm above the rest of the tyre

So since the tyres are only 3mth old it's more difficult to get deep enough to feel them

I remember my Toyo Proxes 4 having tread bumps. Run your keys in the grooves to feel for them. Or take a good look with a torch.

Thanks guys, maybe it's the fact that i've never owned a set of tyres with these oddly shaped treads that's putting me off =/
I'll have another look later today.
What about tyre pressure? Anywhere between 32-38 depending on what kind of feel you want?

tyre pressure is depend on the tyre. what size tyre do you have? what is the max psi allowable for your tyre? (it's on the side of the tyre)

on teh sidewall will be a small triangle somewhere, this points to the point where the wear markers will be.
I have a set in 215/45/17 on my Mondeo, a good tyre, they've lasted me 40,000km or something (and mine are well adn truely dead)
I run them at 37psi.

Don't set the max tyre pressure. Start with about 30-34 and adjust down or up from there. Check the tyre placard on the car (driver's side door).
