Hey all,

Has anyone converted or heard of someone converting their NB mx5 to left hand drive, if so could you please advise how the steering was handled, was it just a case of flipping over the steering rack or buying a complete setup from USA. If USA, does anyone know of a good mx5/miata wrecker over there that will ship parts to Australia.

Thanks
Lee

err ... why would you?

if you wanted to go through all that trouble, why dont you just import one from the states? it would probably work out to be the same in terms as pricing.

The "why would I" is because im building a full drag car and with the steering on the right hand side I dont really have the room to fit a 4.5in exhaust down the right hand side.

err.....I dont really understand your next comment, for the sake of a $200 steering rack I will spend a few thousand importing a left hand drive one..... doesnt make sense

You could alway try FM > http://www.flyinmiata.com/salvage/chassis.php

Although they dont seem to have any NB racks listed on their website at the moment.
