My new wheels are on their way from Japan, and the total weight of the package is 25kg.....which includes 4 wheels, 4 boxes, packaging, foam, wrapping, etc

Edit: and no they are not made of magnesium this time

Dont tell me its the I STYLING RPF1s?, or VOLK RE30s? Both are 3.9kg in 14 and 15 inches by 7 respectively........ i cant choose between the two at the moment. I will be getting one of the two
Babs, i trust your judgement mate.........cant wait to see them!

The I Styling RPF1s were really expensive, and you can only get them from MX5 tuners, and regular Enkei dealers in Japan can't get them. And RE30 aren't available in the crazy offset I wanted.
And it's a bit more bespoke than either of the above options

Sounds good, i wouldnt go the usual RPF1s....luckily i have a source for the IRF wheels and will likely go that way

not cheap though.

the craziness of this depends on the width. I think that you wont have gone wider than 7 inches though...

and no bigger than 15.

Yep

i cant see you \"over tyre-ing\" an NA car. And mega stretch on an 8 inch rim is really more clubroadster/jdm doridori than Japanese roadster style.
