any regular track boys use tein ss?? how do they cope with regular track work and daily driving??

i have heard of 54sec evo (QR sprint i think) using them quite often and they seem to cope. I have them but have only been on the road and I honestly have not noticed any less comfort - handling is in another league though.

I have them, they are very good on track (but have a lot of roll stiffness so if you have upgraded the rear swaybar you might want to consider going back to stock). On the road, they are firm, but give a pretty good ride. Definitely a step above the usual Konis, etc.

Both Flex and Mono Flex allow height adjustment from the base of the shock, so as not to alter pre-load on the spring.

I need to show you some to give you full appreciation I have some Mono Flex for Hellmun coming in on monday. If i have them long enough, you're welcome to take a look. Or maybe come from a drive down when i drop them off to him?

Please read the rules re: advertising on the Forum. I would also suggest that you modify your Sig file as well to remove the advertising from there.

I bought in a little item through them and they were superb; strike while the dollar is strong!!!

You are right they won't be $1387 unless they escaped duty.

Ok so we say 15% duty on the total ( and it won't be quite that much as duty is not paid on the freight but GST is paid on both freight , duty and purchase price)plus 10% GST= $1755,at your door and I have never paid"customs fees" on anything I have brought to Australia from Japan or the US.

You may have to because you choose to use a Customs forwarder but it is misleading to suggest that others would have to ,at least from my experience.

I have no affiliation with Perfectrun other than being a satisfied customer but unless the "comments" you have received about poor peformance by"these" stores relates to them that is a pretty cheap shot!!

I would be interested in what others who have used them think, and hope that this forum continues to be a place where people who see good deals and have good experiences can continue to pass on that information.

Unless you do it yourself and fill out all the paperwork, etc and lodge them, someone will be required and it costs money.

If you import privately(I have on numerous occasions) I have not had to pay brokeridge. When i used to run an import business to fund my rally career years ago the volumes were high, the goods came in container loads and I CHOSE to employ a broker as it made sense.

I have also paid 15%and 10 % as outlined when I have imported over the last few years(privately)

Fair enough, there are poor performers out there, all the more reason to let people know of good experiences.

Ther will also be plenty of people who cannot be bothered importing and want to pay someone else to do it for them with the (hopefully) the added security of being better able to seek redress if something goes wrong.ie they are dealing with someone in Australia.
