CT had some for sale back in April that were ADR compliant (most of the OS brands won't be). He might still have them or be able to put you in touch with the sponsor who supplied them.

I'd only buy ADR compliant ones, you don't want your insurance to void payment if your car is in an accident.

No, I think they do some sorta flick test where the hose is wiggled back and forth lots of times.
I think that's why braided hoses had trouble passing when rubber ones were fine.

They need to have rubber boots as Okibi mentioned. I'd just find your local brake shop who can make ADR approced ones and get them to make them. My race car uses locally made ones - in red!!! ABS is not really a factor.

i was qouted $250 for the set today, is that a good price? thats adr not cams

Yep - that's a good price and there is no such thing as a CAMS requirement. Rubber is allowed for CAMS - but I wouldn't recommend it.

ah ok, i was under the impression that CAMS had to have the metal & not rubber insert??? or what ever it is BUT you cant have metal for adr...
the quote was from a brake shop in sunshine melbourne....
CT how much difference would the braided lines make on the track doing 10-12 laps at a time?

Stainless Braided used to be illegal on the street because they are very easily to damage in an accident. If they get pinched the silicon hose inside will split whereas the rubber hose are much more durable.

Braided lines maintain consistency in feel. It is \"no brainer\" upgrade for a car that will see track time IMO.
