Are all the bolts tight?

Did you put the clear plastic spacer things back between the body and upper spring mount?

Well done. Changing your dampers is a good way of getting to know your car.

As Garry said, check that everything is tight. You may find that with the stiffer suspension that the body is now twisting, causing the dash to squeek.

Probably not. More of a creaking type sound I would have thought.

Is everything in the boot tied down properly, ie is the jack held down by the 'T' bolt? Is the battery strapped down. Is there anything floating around.

Is the single nut on top of the shock absorber shaft tight, if not the top of the shock can move up and down, rubbing against the edge of the hole.
