Blairs are the retailers for the Toyo tyres.

I just got a price for the R888.

205/50/15-$262 each.

225/50/15-$292 each.

Both fit very nicely on the 15 x 7 rims I can get.

Will probably be getting a set of the 225s for my SE race car.

Those Kumho tyres are X Lotus series tyres, the series has fallen apart and they had a big fire sales...these tyres were being sold off for about $30 each.

Gordon Leven Tyres at Penrith.

Good prices

Does Yokohamas A048Rs

These guys know tyres. They took one look at one of my tyres that I managed to blister. He told me what I did, what my tyres pressure was and how it wasn't right for the conditions and what I should do next time.

So if knowledge and good service is what you are after, it is worth the drive to Penrith.

well options are

$262 a corner for R888's in 205/50

$315 a corner for the A048Rs in 205/50

$60-$100 a corner for the ebay kumo's.....(gettin the local dealer to ring and get me a price.. though im thinking they will be adding their share to that :?

would love the R888s.. and theres a local dealer here that said he'd do them for that. they usuable in the wet though for street use?

A048Rs are just too exy..

the kumho's are cheap.. but who knows how much tread there is.. i know they say 80% but...

will be looking at getting some cheap rims for roadies in the near furture so they will hopefully only be used on the track...

what you guys think? buy the kumho's for cheap and replace with R888s latter on. or just go the R888s straight out?
