If you take a measurement from the outside of driver seat, say headrest, to the inside of your passenger seat headrest at the same position that will give you the centres of the seat backs.
Thats the same as measuring centre to centre but its easier, and more accurate.

750mm-ish from centre to centre. Seats are mazdaspeed one and the measurements are about the same.

Not sure how precisely you need it, but I measured mine at 705mm.
