Hey, I have three sets of plastic timing belt covers each of them warped in some way enough to potentially rub on the timing belt.
is it possible to order these new from some source and if so does anyone have the part numbers handy? Alternately would anyone have a spare set of covers they'd like to sell?

Other than Mazda or Ford spare parts dept can't think of where new ones can be found.
Unless you go for aftermarket like maruha or something.

As for the warp, have you test fitted any?
Often plastic parts like that will sit normally once all bolted down and pulled into shape.

Alternatively, you could bend them back into shape with a heatgun and some clamps.

Do your price check locally with dealership

I am trying the heat gun trick now with covers bolted up and jigs to hold them in position...it is looking good so far. It is only the lower covers I'm chasing as I couldn't find a better excuse to hit the button on a maruha cover

Just by coincidence I'm trying the heat gun solution on the undertray at the moment and it's working well so far. It looks like the same plastic. Who would have thought that going backwards into kitty litter at 130kmh would turn it into a huge gravel scoop?

the lower covers are the same as astina/laser ones. only the upper is different. if you have leftovers from the other car.

The astina lower covers were the best of the three. I'm using the astina upper cover for now modified a little to hide the ugly engine mount hole.The heat gun worked well enough to pull the lower covers back to where they should be. The 1.6 I pulled out of the latest mx5 to clutter the driveway had eaten completely through it's timing covers and had plastic shavings embedded all through the timing belt.
