The longer story is:
The stock cooling system is more than capable to manage a mostly standard car even when on the track in 35+degree heat.
That is provided the system is in good order. (Working thermostat, good fluids, radiator in good cond. etc.)
Even mild turbo setups work without a re-route (though i wouldn't do it myself).

Also, the effort to re-route an NB8B is higher than earlier MX's as it requires a change of head gasket.

If you were concerned on cooling your car, I'd just spend the $160 odd dollars on a aluminium radiator from ebay.

Another easy fix is moving the licence plate if it's mounted in a way that it blocks flow to the radiator.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Lots of good info re cooling here.

It also okays reroutes on nb8b, but its better again with a head gasket swap.
