Thanks Tyrone, we're fortunate we are to have some fantastic experts willing to spend their time to help us all out. Much appreciated.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

either will work.

The piggy back can trick the ecu, a full ecu will do the job properly.

(Assuming they're both tuned by someone who knows what they're doing)

Or, if you have an NA8 the Pon Cams will yield 10rwkw on the OEM ECU 8)

Just another suggestion I didn't see as I scanned through the thread, CROW CAMS now do a few grinds for the B6ZE and are available for both hydraulic and solid lifters. Being made in Aus and available from anyone who sells crow, they may be cheap(ish) in comparison, obviously providing the grinds offered are usefull. I have checked they dont do any for the BP as the billets aren't easily available. Youo will need to get on thier site and email them to get thier list of profiles.

I have a NB8. So just a fuel computer will do the job - what about timing advance? Will this need to be adjusted to take more advantage?

I have a set of 805c's that I'm in the process of pulling out of my race car that I will be selling.

I ran them for the first year as Dean Tighe talked me into them for my race car. I have haltec and a high compression motor and only this mild cam so I'm looking at a 274deg cam. For a street car they would be magic for my race car they were just too mild

Will happily be selling them for around $400 delivered. They have only done about 2000KM

I will post in the for sale section when I have them out of the car.

got a cost for 620 for a build up and re grind of the 805c profile from tighe.

Loch does some on exchange for 8XX that includes wheels and installation. I think I might do them when i get the exhaust from him in the new year. Will let all know how it goes.

Yep, im sure you could get a group discount. I would go the Tomei's or Tighe 805c.

Mania have Tighe Regrinds for $695 on an exchange basis.

The Tomeis can be had in Japan over the counter for around 700 bucks....but the best price i have for them shipped (1 set) is around $990

If we can get a few buyers i will see what price we can get on the Tomeis....i have a bit of a preference for these over the Tighes as are known to work well on a std ecu. I dont know how well the 805c's go with the std ecu however (talking about NA8)
