Hi folks
I'd like to play with doing an upgraded bottom end.
Not sure what block I need.
I have a 98 NB8A which has a modded BP4W head on it.
Any advise appreciated.

It really doesnt matter, NB8b has the better oem oil pump and crank girdle.
