Hi Everyone,
I am going to buy a Race Technology DL1 (5hz) and Dash3(full) package direct from Race technology. I have been using just a DL1 alone for a few years now and have found it invaluable in improving driving performance - even though i could only review data post the event since it does not have a display.
It is time to invest myself now as I have to return my current DL1 to its owner as is racecar is now rebuilt.
So I have decided to buy the DL1 and Dash3(full) package.
Details Below

Race Technology will give a 10% discount if we order 3 or more
The Dash3 (for an extra 50GBP) is a better investment over the Dash3lite as it is more configurable.
The DL1 i have been using was a MKII version and even though it is only a 5hz unit, with 2G accelerometers it has done everything I needed. - the 5hz can be upgraded to 20hz later if you decide you want to however if you wnt 6g acceleromters these need to be specified at time of purchase.
So I will be ordering a DL1+Dash3 package for 649GBP + 30 GBP shipping before Mid July 2010.........based on the fact GST will be applicable when it arrives as value exceeds $1000 we are looking at a final price of around $1300AUS (+ or - a bit based on currecny fluctuations)
The DL1(20hz model) alone from Aus dealers sells for $1595 by itself
##note if Dash and logger packages are purchased - the Dash will only work with that particular logger - they are locked to eachother, however the logger DL1 will work standalone##
Is anyone else interested in purchasing this package or similar direct from the manufacturer ?
This is quite a professional logging system, you can connect ecu's to them for ecu data (with purchase of extra cable), as well as many other sensors - so can be a complex or basic setup as you want. I have put my current logger in friends cars by just connecting it to power, and analysing GPS data and acceleromter data and lap times - and this has been enough to get 3 second improvement from them.
I am not an expert, but have used this product and found it to be excellent - if you are not sure of this product have a look t their website to see what is on offer and how good the products are.
If you are seriously intersted - post here and I will contact you individually - as mentioned would like to order soon so planning on finalising order by around 7 July- maybe 10th at the latest.
