Meeting cancelled.

A great shame this final meet was cancelled.

Those that did the IRACE event at the weekend got to see some great action on the track with all the MX5's having heaps of fun on their own and with the Future Racers.

CT got the 1st place trophy for the accumulated points with his wins in the previous races. Steven got 2nd place trophy overall and Daniel Deckers and Michael Hall shared the 3rd place trophy as there was a bit of cross entering going on . As always there were plenty of laughs and it was great to catch up with Tony B, Cal, Fish and the crew who came down from QLD.

For all those who missed it, the final race of the weekend was a 4 lap MX5 Challenge event won by Steven Head in his NA. With the cancellation of this weekends meeting it now means the record books will show a MX5 winning the last ever race at Oran Park!!

Look forward to seeing you at Wakefield Park in 2 weeks for the next one.

For those who are still looking for a "last ever track day" at Oran Park, I heard that Ian Luff has a booking there on 25th January for a "Track Attack" course. Cost is $195. No idea if there are any spaces left or whether it will still be going ahead.

edit: D'oh! Just checked the Oran Park Raceway website and they announced the exact same thing! Private practice is also available on 19th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th January for $140 per driver.

great video, you just seemed to have missed the next bit where redmx5 goes on to win the race. Hope the damage is not to bad Great to catch up with you, Fish and Tony over the weekend, look forward to another race very soon.

I had a pretty unfair advantage once we sorted the clutch issue. That thing of yours is really flying though.
