Hi, I've just sold my dirtbike and looking to get into Formula Vee. It seems like a cheap, fun and competitive form of racing!

I've done a fair bit of research but figured it doesn't hurt to ask around, so does anyone here race fv? thoughts?

cheers

Best 4 seasons of my life.

Vic championship is very competitive and the national series is awesome.

The "Nationals" are on in Tassie this year and I expect it to be a nail-biter.

I guarantee you'll never look back.

Cheers,

Zane.

Cheers Zane, I'm really looking forward to it!

I'm having a bit of trouble finding car's for sale, there don't seem to be many advertised on the internet.

Do you think I would have better luck if I go to a few races and chat to some owners? There doesn't seem to be much in the way of information on the internet which is a bit of a shame.

Hey Moto,
Very jealous - ever since watching the Formula Vee's during the motokhana @ Eastern Creek, I've been eying them off too!

Does anyone know what sort of budget you need to be looking at racing these?

Capital outlay ranges from $8k-$40k.

Yearly expense for a 6 round championship including fuel, accom, top-end's, tyres, entries, parts and consumables is at least $8k-$10k.
