Hi all,

Just a few questions,

What class 2f,2b etc would I be in if I run a NA 1.6 with ITBs?

Where do people buy EBC pads from in Brissy? and would these be the best for starting out on?

Where is the best place to buy a race suit and shoes etc?

Where do I get the tow hook etc stickers from?

Any other things I need to know but might be afraid to ask?

Thanks

Terry

I was told to look at a place called AMMS for the brake pads, I have no idea what they are like its just a place that was suggested to me at one point. Their number which was given to me is 32696555.

Cheers,
Tim

Geting serious eh?

GP cars in Brissy are a club sponsor and stock a few quality brands for shoes and suits. They also race a 2F MX5 IIRC.

Get rid of the throttle bodies. You stand no chance in 2B against the turbos.

Not everybody's chasing trophies Cal

Terry you would fit in 2b and as lou said stay away from EBC and stick with Hawk Hp+ of Blues. If you run in 2b you can then run slicks.

Give John Kirk a ring at GP cars re the race gear but also Brett (red 2f mx5) may also be able to help with the racing gear.

When we will see the new beast at the track?

Looks like the itb's are gone, so 2F here I come. The slicks are tooooo dear for me, unless Famous wants to do only one race per set then donate them to me

So who do you buy your Hawk pads from?

Brett has offered to look after me on race gear, thanks Brett!!

Hoping for a May track try out on the next Club track day, earlier if possible, depending on budget. Then the Nationals then selected meets through out the rest of the year for experience. Hopefully next year we'll try for the full calander.

Can get the hawk pads from

http://www.vsport.com.au/ which is a Aussie supplier or from USA...I usually use http://www.good-win-racing.com/

They are pretty expensive now because of the dollar but worth getting...

Download the form from the CAMS website. There is a list of people on there who can do the inspection.
