Is anyone going to watch the Top fuel Drags on boxing day?

I will be there in the mx5, it has its new turbo on now and makes 403rwhp. (an extra 80hp than previous)

The car should run a 9 second pass if I can get everything to work down the track....

If anyone is going come down and say hey.

racing starts at 1pm so I should be on about 1.30ish...

Boxing day is only qualifying, then racing is on the 27th.

How much to get in?
Can anyone get in to the pits?
Do you know what time the top fuels are on?

$50 dollars for the day or $90 for both days.

Havent had issues about getting into the pits in the past, dont see why it should be an issue this time around.

got there around 5pm - saw nfs' 2nd pass - he's having problems with the turbo spooling up and getting off the line. Dave spoke to him as he was hunting for a NOS kit to help out.... :P 'only' managed an 11 sec time on the second run, so not sure if he qualified for tomorrow, but we'll be out there earlier so we won't miss anything. Phil Read ran a 4.57 pass - quickest ever for an Aussie - but missed bagging a record with a 4.62 on the last run, side by side with Dave Grubnic on a 4.82. not too shabby!! Scott Kalitta ran a 4.51 pass and our friends the Sainty boys ran a 5.0 so things are looking good for tomorrow! :D

He'd be down there on the pit crew but the Top Bike isn't on this weekend for some reason... :?:

You can count on it Agro, although I thought you'd be running around in your skimpies handing out t-shirts and stickers or guiding the cars back down the lane after their burnouts... still, at least you can see the MORRIS IEMMA NSW GOVERNMENT BIG SCREEN as we've come to know it   :P

Had a good time spectating, checked out NFS's ride - he eventually managed to break into the 10's, but didn't make the finals. Once he gets the beast sorted he'll be into the 9's for sure. Terry Sainty ended the weekend as runner up to Scott Kalitta - a great result for an all Aussie car! Kallita ran the fastest times ever seen outside the USA and went home with the Aussie records for best ET (4.517) and fastest quarter mile speed (332mph). He backed up with two 4.6 passes. Simply awesome.

Chatted with Agro before she clocked on, nice to see a friendly face! Will check my photos later and post a pic or two if they're ok.
