If all goes to plan I'll be picking up a new bike on Saturday so I might cruise by and and see how the \"SP's\" are progressing.

Is it confirmed that the track will be no longer at the end of the year?

If so I'm seriously pissed to be missing this race.

Yep - only two formats for Oran Park. GP Circuit and South Circuit. There are at least two more meetings at the GP circuit over the coming month. Rnd 4 of the state champs at the end of July and the MG Racing meeting in the middle of July. Lots of racing over the next comple of months. :)

Yeh, but you could always ask HANK for a donation... :P

I know we need every circuit we can get in NSW, but I really won't miss OP. It is a dump in every sense of the word, and despite having had some good races there over the years someone from OP management always manages to stuff the weekend for me  I contrast OP to Amaroo, where every meeting I attended was fantastic, even the Januay scorchers, and I really enjoyed the track itself - a real challenge and very rewarding to get it right. Oh well, I guess I'll be able to tell my grandkids (when I get some) how it was in the good old days....

We'll have to see if we can get the Canberra crew organised again for a Sunday visit. At least OP is on our side of town.

Well a great practice day today, Beautiful sunshine, cold air and warm track.

I have achieved goal number one for Bluey that was to beat Fanta's times. Went straight into the 1:17s and beat Fanta's best time by 0.3 secs.

There is hope yet for Bluey!!!

Cheers

Brian was first MX5 home in today's race finishing 12th, with Brad Douglas 13th in front of a Porsche and a couple of Loti. Looks like there was some traffic involved as their fastest laps (1:17.59 for Brian) were quicker than a couple of those Porsche things immediatly ahead of them.

Well done lads!
