Congrats!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Just read the entire thread and it looks awesome, I'm looking at fitting some red tow hooks like yours soon too, where did you get yours? Hectic times with the roo, glad to see it's looking shiny and pretty again.

I got mine as a Christmas present from my brother however I believe he got them from MX5 Mania. Been meaning to do an update on what has happened with the car in the last year (including 2 more instances of body damage).

Wow have left this dormant for a while. Basically the car has settled into being my daily but with my current job roster and diversion of funds to other priorities (like buying a house) track days haven't happened for 3 years now. But plans are afoot for some TLC including a new gearbox (input shaft bearing is getting noisy) new MCA coilovers (Koni shocks, Eibach springs and Racing Beat sways will be up for sale soon) and a few other small maintenance items. Then hopefully will get back into some track time.
Plans for more power (eventually) are swinging back towards turbo again maybe even with some ITB action as well.

Replaced gearbox and reset cam timing this weekend. Turns out both cams have been retarded by 2 teeth since the incident with the kangaroo. Can runs much better now and is a lot quieter. Ran out of time and energy to do the suspension so will wait until another day.

Bummer, hope the engine didn't get too hot.

Noticed after a 5 minute run into town so no chance to get beyond normal operating temp.
It's only a slow leak so far so managed to get it home after topping off the coolant with no issues.

New MCA X-R's with 11kg Front and 7kg Rear springs fitted today. Aside from one snapped stud on one of the rear sway bar mounts (went back to stock sways) it all went well.
