It'll make a perfect track car IMO
Based on what you said on your plans, this reminds me of of another Dave. Dave of MX5 Mania. He's just putting the final touches to his "company" car - a white NA with similar mods to what you just described. Being a company car <cough, cough>, it's road registered. And it looks one tough SOB with it's cambered wide wheels with semi-slick tyres.
Next time I'm there, I'll take a few pix and will post.
PS. Go the dash lights

Yeah if I keep it stock it might be competitive at Natmeet, my NB8A would need a turbo and drive across the country on a set of slicks to stand a chance.
I don't think i'd take the NA6 to the track when an NB is much better suited. NA should make a nice learner car for the monsters.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Can't believe it made it all the way to your place with that front lip still on. I should have stopped and nicked it when you were in front of me on Wanneroo Road.
Looks like a good unit for the $, needs panel and paint and some TLC, but I have seen a lot worse for that money. Good luck doing the licencing dance.

I sussed out the VIN number issue, if you look at the firewall there's 2 little yellow bits either side of the JAP VIN. I think they glued a plate over the top with the new Aussie VIN and that has fallen off.
