I've just installed an audiolink cable mine (2007 Roadster Coupe). It was a right **** to get in, but a lot easier once I pulled the antenna cable out. Works just fine.
I'm now waiting on my no-modification hardpoint mount from clicon so I can mount the iPod by the gear stick. Using this:
