Seal between MAF and ARC intake box?

Postby systmoveride » Fri Nov 20, 2020 8:07 pm

Hi there,

So I've come into possession of an ARC chamber and intake box, and assumed that the MAF would just mate up with the airbox. However this is not the case and there is quite a lot of free space as seen in the pictures.
Car is an NB8A, if anyone else has the setup or knows of the seal used in this circumstance please let me kmnow. I have the seal that usually belongs between the stock air tube and MAF seems to fit easily enough inside the ARC chamber but doesnt seem to be too tight a seal, though I'm yet to try the MAF with the seal in the airbox.

Thanks!

Think you'll have to devise an adaption, as IIRC the ARC intakes & airboxes were more common on the NA, so your one may have been made to fit the NA6 AFM or NA8 MAF.

Only a few goggle pictures show I think an NA engine bay and a different MAF.
